Sooner or later, we find ourselves at a crossroads ... we experience a heartbreak, we get stuck, we lose our mojo or we simply feel that something is amiss. We may struggle to communicate, make decisions, lead others and conduct ourselves in the world. Perhaps we start to wonder what our lives should really be about or what is truly holding us back.
These moments are an open invitation for us to understand our deeper motivations, explore our blind spots and reconnect with ourselves. This is where a coaching program can intervene, as it is designed to help us become more resourceful in the way we interpret and respond to our surroundings.
It is not uncommon for people to equate "coaching" with some sort of performance enhancement, fixing something that’s perceived to be broken, or a personal "up-grade". Although outcomes are an essential component of a coaching program, Integral Coaching® draws a distinction between self-development and self-improvement; it takes a person-first approach rather than simply trying to make someone function better in the short-term. The methodology is "integral" because it takes into account all facets of the human being - somatic, cognitive, emotional, relational and spiritual.
Every client is unique and faces unique circumstances, therefore a customized program - typically six months in length - is created to help you gain more awareness, unveil new possibilities and cultivate certain competencies to navigate life more gracefully, and ultimately become able to generate solutions to problems on your own.
